Cobalt Fire is another of the larger fluid art pieces. This one also measures 10 x 20 inches on stretched canvas. Cobalt Fire is approximately 17x27 inches framed using a copper theme 3 inch wide molding to compliment the metallics in the painting.

My Galactic themed paintings are inspired largely by the images and energies of the Universe. The original inspiration came from a slide show a colleague put together over a decade ago which showed images starting at things measured on a scale of one meter (e.g. a picture of a human or a horse); and then zoomed out at multiples of ten until the images were of spectacular visions of galaxies, energetic effects and nebula taken by the Hubble deep space telescope.

Others are my own imagination of what various galactic energies might look like if we were able to see them - like Volcanic blasts or surges of enormous energies in the depths of space. Often people see something new or completely different. What do you see in the wide variety of colors, shapes and patterns in these?

This time it was Artist Loft metallic blue as the base with the contrast of various other metallics including bronze, silver, copper and gold colored metal powders as well.
