The “Senses, Sea and Shores” series of paintings cover a wide range of abstractions of reality. From abstract expressions of human emotion, to things we can find in our gardens or around us, to the ever-changing shapes in moving water. The range of possibilities is limited only by our imagination and the ability to “see” the real in abstract ways.

This first completed piece in the "Garden Rainbows" series dried enough to play with it a little more. As I was adding the various layers it struck me that it was resembling and abstraction of a group of daffodils - so I now had the inspiration for the rest of the six painting - abstractions of various flowers. This is another example of my works by creating art in series. I named this one Daffodilis because it is an abstraction of reality. This original measures 20 x 20 inches on Lev3 stretched canvas.
